Look for the file named 'DATA.BIN' inside the 'USRDIR' folder. Right click on the file named 'DATA.BIN' and choose 'Apply PPF patch to selected file'.

(This works 100% without any problems.) I patched mine using this method. Open the untouched ISO using the program 'UMDGEN'. Look for the file named 'DATA.BIN'. It is located in 'PSPGAME/USRDIR/.' 3. Extract the file named 'DATA.BIN' by highlighting it and then click right mouse button and choose 'Extract Selected.'

Open the program named 'ppf-o-matic3.exe'. On the 'ISO File', click the diskette icon and choose the extracted 'DATA.BIN' from your untouched ISO.

On the 'Patch', click the diskette icon and choose the English translation patch. (Latest patch included in the pack above.) 7. Now click apply and then close the program when done. Open again the untouched ISO using the program 'WQSGUMDR31'. Go to the folder named 'USRDIR'. It is located in 'PSPGAME/USRDIR/' 10. Drag and drop the patched 'DATA.BIN' inside that folder overwriting the old one.

Click '1) Check MD5' on the patcher and choose the untouched ISO of Monster Hunter Portable 3rd game. (It will check whether the ISO is still untouched or not.) 4. After the check is done, click '2) Apply Ripkit'.
